Is it possible to change the component name to be something descriptive? I am monitoring 8 data points and I would like to be able to decern which is which.
It looks like you have a bunch of components within a template. Within APM Settings, go to "Manage Application Monitor Templates". Select the template & hit Edit. There should be a Rename button next to each individual component monitor.
I think it would be nice to have this available available in the edit application interface after assigning a template to a system.
For us, we do a lot of custom items; we generally take bits and pieces from templates. It took me a while to find out where and how to make this change.
