having an issue with a tcp connect

Question

I set up an IP SLA Tcp connect operation to use port 80 to connect  to a server.  I am using version 3.1, and chose a custom path, and then specified an external node, which of course is my server.  It created the operation successfully on the router, but I am getting the following results....

Round trip time (RTT)    Index 40002
    Latest RTT: NoConnection/Busy/Timeout
Latest operation start time: 12:15:21.106 CST Thu Jan 21 2010
Latest operation return code: No connection
Number of successes: 0
Number of failures: 8

It seems I am getting a "No Connection".     I can telnet successfully to my server over port 80 from router, so I know a session can be established.

What could I be doing wrong?

It is possible that the operation is using incorrect router's interface while trying to connect to your server.

TCP Connect operation allows you to specify also "Source IP Address" parameter that makes possible to indicate which interface to use. Please try to enter explicitly a proper IP address of the interface that provides the connectivity to your server.
