How to enabled product update checking?

Question

When I run 'Check for update' from the Help menu, I receive the error message "Unable to check for update... Product update checking has been disabled."

How can I enable product update checking so I can run automatic updates for CatTools?  I'm currently running version 3.11.3.

Thanks for the response, David.  A manual upgrade is not terribly inconvenient so I'm good with that workaround.  Just assumed I was missing a small setting option somewhere which was preventing automatic upgrades. Thanks!

I’ve seen this before in Kiwi and the workaround at the time was just to upgrade manually it was later patched in a hot fix. I would suggest downloading 3.11.4 from the customer portal and following the upgrade guide here: Kiwi CatTools Upgrade Guide - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support
