APM Road map

Guy's I have been trying out APM V2 Eval and so far I really like it. However, as always there is always room for improvements. Off the top of my head:

Actions like:

1) If a service is down, you can send a restart request. Reboot the server if a service does respond to restart requests, etc.
2) Pop/SNMP authentication by having a login username and password option
3) HTTP/HTTPS login username and password

I know 2 and 3 and ben done using a script, but it would make it a lot easier if you could do it straight from the Template.

Is there a page where Solarwinds has additional Roadmap features? We could then get a greater ideal of where the product is going in future.

Anyone elase have any suggestions to future APM features? I would be interested to hear them.

I couldn't agree more. All three of those items are top priority features for APM.

I wish I could, but it's still too early. I can tell you what the priorities are, but I don't have dates ( and couldn't tell you if I did) or certainties. I've been a product manager long enough to have learned that if I make promises about features too early, then I inevitably have to explain why some of them didn't make it. What's "too early"? In my experience, until a team has a feature working well in Beta, it's too early.
