My question is very direct. How do I start with IP SLA? I read a PDF about basics of IP SLA but I have found no guide where I can see where or how to start.
If anyone can direct me to such guides I'd greatly appreciate it.

Is this the PDF that you looked at? The Solarwinds Admin Guides are pretty informative and this should be good to get you started.
