Tried looking through documentation but could not find what the below settings actually mean?

UDT Settings: Polling Interval:

DOMAIN CONTROLLER DEFAULT POLL INTERVAL

30 minutes  This interval determines how frequently a domain controller will be polled for user login information.

UDT Settings: Advanced settings:

AD USER UPDATE INTERVAL

12 Hours This interval determines the frequency over which UDT will update Active Directory user information

The first one is looking at your Domain Controllers' Security logs to see which users have logged in.

The second one is how often UDT will poll the Domain Controllers to get new data about the users - stuff like their Manager, Phone number, location, etc. It doesn't pull all of that from AD every time it pulls logins, because it is much less likely to change in that time frame.
