does anyone have a way to monitor the Hyper-v replication status using the IP Monitor tool ?
i need to get the status of each virtual machine replication ( Normal , warning , critical )
Do you know if those values are exposed via WMI? If so, you could use the WMI monitor to gather that information.
we tried to configure the Generic WMI monitor to retrieve the results but there was an issue with the monitor it self where its always retrieved all vm`s replication status not only one machine so the monitor will stay always down .
this actions was with the support members but with no luck .
I will ask Dev if they can think of another way, but have you also looked at our Server & App Monitor product and Virtualization Manager product? They both have online demos you can poke around on and check out, but they may solve this problem in a better way.
many thanks bshopp , actually i tried the orion and vm manager but they didnt help to accomplish my request .
so the support agents asked me to raise a future request to include the hyper-v replication feature in the next release of IP Monitor .
i will be waiting your kind reply .
