Microsoft Cluster Resources (via WMI)

This script can be run against a cluster, node or VIP, and returns the number of online resources and the names and number of any that are not.

Useful for spotting errant Network Names, MSDTC resources and such.

Thanks for this rstafford. I got it working after realizing that I needed to pass the {$IP} variable from within the APM template. After that, I tested it out against a dozen of our clusters and it worked great.
One thing though, is it possible to capture the vbs output of a failed cluster resource and write that to APM or a Solarwinds alert? This is neatly done when running the script manually- just wanted a way to capture that in the APM piece. Thanks!

I have no idea about scripting; I have downloaded this VB Script I am now adding a windows script monitor component, but where this {IP$} can be replaced.

I am also having trouble with this. When I downloaded the template, it is showing up as a vbscript. How do I implement this?

It works fine for me.
it make query over all Resources and return number of Online Resources.

This works when I use it from my local machine's command prompt but not from APM. It always returns with:

Testing on node TestNode: failed with 'NotAvailable' status
The script returned status code DOWN. Usage: cscript.exe ClusterResources.vbs ${IP}

What am I doing wrong? I created a new Windows Script Monitor, copy and pasted the code. Changed the [Target_IP] to ${IP}. No go. I even tried typing the IP in manually and still the same error message. Please help! Thanks.
