integrate with existing windows file servers and folder permision

Hi friends,

A customer has windows file servers and AD, the employees
in a branch access their personal folders by windows network share, but it’s
slow.

I suggest them set up Serv-U before windows file servers,
so they can resume broken downloads.

Because the windows file servers have configured many
folder permission for the empolyees.

For example,

A user: \\fileserver\A : read and write

A user: \\fileserver\Pub : read and write

B user: \\fileserver\A: read and write

B user: \\fileserver\Pub : read only

The customer can’t change anything on the windows file
servers.

So my question is how Serv-U integrate with existing
windows file servers and folder permission.

Long story short you'll be using two features built in to Serv-U. 

• User impersonation: Whenever your end users sign on with their AD credentials, Serv-U will used those credentials (by default) to access Windows folder resources.  (You can override this behavior with explicit folder permissions, but I don't think you want to!) 
• Virtual folders: You will want to set up each share as a "virtual folder", possibly at the domain or group level (rather than the user level).  Each one of these will look something like this: Virtual Path = %HOME%/Pub; Physical Path = \\fileserver\Pub.

Those two concepts together should get you what you want.  BTW, you'll want the "Serv-U MFT Server" edition to get access to AD.
