SFTP Automation

I've installed the sftp server. How do I create an automation script to send a file to an external server?? Do I actually need a sftp client instead of the server??

There's not an integrated client in any of the tools like the TFTP Server is, but you should be able to manually initiate transfers from the devices themselves. On a Cisco device, for instance, you can upload the running config to the SCP server with "copy run scp://<ip of SCP server>/file.config". This will upload to a file named "file.config".
