Report showing all status changes

Is it possible to create a report showing all status changes on an interface.  I am loooking for every time the 'last change'  updated.

 

Or all down/up transitions over a time period.

 

Also is there a way to create a report to see interface uptime over a specified period?

 

I am not sure these ones are possible to do that is why I am asking

Hi Mike,

You could use an Advanced SQL report to pull this information from the NPM Event Log.

First find the InterfaceID - open Interface Details in System Manager.

 

Try the query:

Select EventTime,  Message, NetObjectID, EventType, NetObjectType
From Events
Where NetObjectType = 'I'
and NetObjectType = '1234'

*replace 1234 with your interface ID.

 

You can filter it further using the date, and eventtype as necessary - for example:

Select EventTime,  Message, NetObjectID, EventType, NetObjectType
From Events
Where NetObjectType = 'I'
and NetObjectType = '1234'
and EventTime > '10/19/2010'
