Are the following test cases possible with IPAM ver3:

Test Purpose:	To monitor and display IPv6 address routers
Prerequisites:	Required to have dual stack routers. Need to be SNMP enabled
Test Procedure:	IPAM Settings >> Manage Nodes >> Add Global Prefix / IPv6 Site / IPv6 Subnet
Expected Result:	All IPv6 addresses Routers should be displayed with specific information such as IOS ver, Hostname, IP Address, etc.

Test Purpose:	To monitor and display IPv6 address of routers as additional column for the added IPv4 address routers
Prerequisites:	Need to be SNMP enabled
Test Procedure:	IPAM Settings >> Manage Nodes >> Add Subnet
Expected Result:	All IPv6 addresses of Routers should be displayed as 1 column as per monitoring of IPv4 address routers

Test Purpose:	To import the excel sheet with the auto-grouping feature for the list ip addresses with different subnets
Prerequisites:	Sheet should be in .csv or .xls format
Test Procedure:	IPAM Settings >> IP Address and Subnet Import >> File to Upload field >> Browse
Expected Result:	All the data including the column headers should be imported on the IPAM display page. All ip addresses with different subnet masks should be auto-grouped accordingly based on subnets

Hi,

test case #1

IPAM does polling based on IPv4 address. So in case that your routers has both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses assigned then this test case is valid and IPAM 3.0 compatible but the test procedure needs to be changed and you need to add IPv4 subnet too along with IPv6 prefix.

test case #2

As I mentioned IPAM doesn't poll for IPv6 so you need to import IPv6 addresses via IPAM importing wizard along with your IPv4 then you will see that as a separate column. We would like to add polling of IPv6 via SNMP in the future.

test case #3

yes, this is valid scenario - IPAM importing wizard allows to import IP addresses and/or subnet structures (including folders/groups, etc.). IPAM also allow you to create all imported structures automatically or you can organize it manually via drag&drop feature.
