Can we runs CLI commands through NCM Solarwinds ? and get put put back
Only as a script.
yes
backup and scripts that what NCM is about.
"and get put put back"? Not quite sure what that means... Are you asking if you can get output back? Yes, although what output you get does seem to vary a bit.
You can do CLI commands a few different ways, all of them via some sort of scripting. You don't get an interactive session if that's what you're asking.
One way to execute commands, and probably the easiest is via "Configuration Management". Here you can select a number of nodes, click on "Execute Script" and either load up an existing script or type in your own. When they're done running you can see the output via the "show script results" in "Transfer Status".
You can also go to a individual nodes "Config" tab and use the "Execute Script" box on that screen, similar to the above.
There are also "Config Change Templates" that are a bit more involved.
And the last one I can think of right now is the "Compliance" engine allows you to run remediation scripts on those nodes that need to fix compliance problems.
Can we runs CLI commands through NCM Solarwinds ? and get out put back
same as using (terminal emulator) putty or tera term but through NCM page.
Please let me know which script we should use to run windows commands from Solarwinds not powershell script.
Sorry I don't know. Sandeep was asking about NCM and CLI commands.
Maybe open up a new discussion and outline what you are hoping to achieve.
