Component monitor "down"; supposed to be "not running". Why?

Component monitor shows as "down" when supposed to be "not running". Anyone seen similar issues?

Compare with another, good node:

See how when the "bad" one is "down", the "good" is actually "running"? "Bad" shows as "running" when the "good" one shows as not?

Component's CPU load is at zero in the last couple days when the good nodes show good work. They work more or less in parallel: running together, idle together.

This appears to have started happening just recently and out of the blue: no known changes to the nodes or Solarwinds.

Appreciate any ideas.

Can you please test the below case:

Leave the existing monitor as is and create a duplicate component monitor as slicer1 on the same node with same parameters and try testing it, check if it returns a not running or down.
