Alert based on a time variable?

Hi there,

 

I have seen there were a couple of topics previously discussing trending alerts for disk space, but they dont seem to come to a conclusion. What I am after is an alert which could take into account the amount of time that has occurred between the triggering of two disk space alerts. For example...

 

1) Trigger 1 alert for 85% disk volume used. Email sent out

2) Shortly after the disk volume has grown significantly such  that it has breached 90% volume used within 5 minutes. Because of the timescale send out another alert.

 

Is this possible?

We can get close to what you need, but not using the time limit exactly as you describe.

One way would be to set up alert escalation as seen in the Admin Guide. The second one is to make 2 alerts, one at 85% and one at 90%.
