Event.sdf not updating

Anyone else getting the issue where, in Syslog v9 with Web Access installed, after 5 minutes the Event.sdf database seems to get locked and no events can be written to it unless the Syslogd_Service is stopped, at which point the sdf is populated with the events from the Web Cache?

Another side effect of this is that the Syslogd_Service starts chewing up Memory Usage while it is caching the events, eventually bringing the server to a standstill.

If anyone has seen this, and resolved it can they let me know how? Cheers

Can you please submit a support ticket and attach your Event.sdf database to the ticket?

I have already raised a ticket # 109663 a couple of days ago. Currently they have suggested Pausing the refresh and starting it again. I have given them further details re the issue but have yet to hear back from them yet.

Strangely enough when I came in this morning things seemed to be working fine, but then ground to halt again.

My sdf file is over a Gb in size, how would be the best way to get it to them?

If your Event database is that large then don't worry about sending it.

Instead, what would be most helpful is if you could submit your Kiwi Syslog Server Tech-support file (Kiwi Syslog Server Manager > File Menu > Create Tech support). If you can send in that file, I'll check the support ticket and let you know what I come up with...
