NTA installation errors

Orion 9.1

Windows Server 2003

SQL Express 2005

The following error appears whenever trying to install NTA:

Database configuration failed:
• Error while executing script- Cannot find either column "dbo" or the user-defined function or aggregate "dbo.GetIntervalIndex", or the name is ambiguous.

Any help would be appreciated.

I seem to remember hearing about this error from tech support, but I believe that was back in the NTA 3.0 days. Is that the version of NTA that you're installing? Is this a database upgrade of NTA? If so, from what version? (NTA 2.2.1 maybe?)

This is a fresh install of NTA v3.0 and not an upgrade. I downloaded the package from the customer portal which contained the following two files:

OrionNetflowTrafficAnalyzer-v3.0

Netflow-3.0-Update

The installation fasils on the first file. Does the update take NTA up to v3.1?

The update only takes you to NTA 3.0 SP4. To save you time and headache, I'd recommend that you uninstall 3.0 and go with a clean install on NTA 3.1 on a new database.
