Active Alerts: Grouping the 'widget'...?

Hey there,

I'm using advanced alerts with Orion 8.1 and have added the 'Active Alerts' resource onto the home page. Is there a way to group the alerts in this resource? I realize that you can group them when you build a custom Alert page (along with acknowledging, searching, etc.) but I'm really looking for the quick-hit head's up dashboard that's just a *little* bit easier to read.

On a related note, it seems like all of my advanced alerts have no "current value" reading similar to the basic alerts. Is this by design? Is there a way to populate this field?

Finally, it's a lot easier to use the central administration of the advanced alerts - are people replacing their basic alerts with advanced? Is it recommended?
