Orion - Virtulisation Manager Report on hardware version and E1000 vNICs

Hi there,

I'm trying (and failing) to find a way to report on the virtual hardware version and network adapter type (E1000 specifically) for our vSphere 6.0 environment.

I'd like to report from Orion ideally.

I've seen a thread from 2014 saying this isn't possible and am hoping this is no longer the case.

Versions below:

Orion Platform 2017.1

Virtualization Manager v7.0.0.1367

Hi,

you can create custom table report for Virtual Hosts; You can get 'Model', 'Vendor' and 'Processor Type' report like this:

Unfortunately, VMAN is not polling network adapter type.

Thanks for coming back to me.

Apologies for any confusion. I'm actually referring to the VM version when I say 'virtual hardware'. See below example.

Very surprised VMAN isn't pulling in the network adapter info. Hopefully this will be included at some point.

I'm sorry but VMAN is still not polling VM Version.

But if you are really missing this, you can contact Solarwinds support and open feature request.
