Does UDT not show what Layer2 device a mac is connected to? So far it only seems to be showing the layer3 device the IP is associated with.
Some might say that the driving purpose behind UDT would be to show you Layer 2 information...
Can you elaborate on your situation? What types of devices are you monitoring with UDT? Do you have all of your Layer 2 devices in the UDT inventory with all of their switchports being actively monitored?

Yes, I have all of my devices and ports monitored. However, when I look up a mac address or IP address, I only get the layer3 router/layer3 switch the devices is connected to. Not the layer2 switch and port that it is connected to like I used to get with Cisco Prime.
I would first check the devices for compatibility with UDT. Past that I would say a trouble ticket with SolarWinds Tech Support would be the fastest resolution if there is indeed a problem with your environment. For peace of mind, UDT was designed to offer L2 mapping, so what you are experiencing doesn't "feel" right (of course that's based on my assumptions of your environment without actually seeing it...)

please post result of ticket when completed!
I would think that a Cisco 3560 should be supported.
