I need to upgrade the ipmonitor version 10.6 to 10.8

Hi Geeks,

Can u please advise me what are the steps for the upgradation of latest version of ipmonitor from ipmonitor version 10.6.

server is windows server 2008 , 64 bit.

You will want to make sure that your license is current, and install over the top of your current install. This should retain your current settings.

We are planning to install windows server 2012r2, Later on we need to install the ipmonitor on the server. but with the upgraded version 10.8

But we need retain the same configuration settings and credentials

Is it the same procedure if we are upgrading from IpMonitor version 10.0 build 1371 to version 10.8 on a Windows 2003 R2 server? We are also planning on installing Ipmonitor 10.8 on a Windows 2012 server later on but we want to do the upgrade first on the existing server.

Yes you will want to install 10.8.2 over the top of your 10.0 install. To move w 10.x install please see this link:

The only thing to watch out for is moving from a 32 but to a 64 bit system. You will need to move the ipMonitor directory to the Program Files (X86) prior to installing.
