We are having a performance problem with Orion 9.0 and Netflow 3.0. We are seeing times where memory utilization reaches 90+% and processor utilization reaches 60% and 80% and sustains for some time. The web console is sluggish and slow and when managing from a RD session we see the same issue.
Orion and Neflow are running on a VMWare instance and has 2 Quad Core Xeon 2.33 L2 8Mb with 1 GB of memory assigned to it. The disk it uses is on a Netapp which uses Raid 6. Disk Bytes/sec reaches over 10,00,000 at some periods but seems to average around 6,000,000.
We are monitoring 98 Nodes, 138 Interfaces, and 13 Volumes.
