HELP!-D-Link 302T router and TFTP SERVER PROBLEMS

Hello everybody, as you can see I need some help...let's go straight to the point ! I am trying to use a tftp server to transfer firmware file for the above mentioned router, because of all the problems it is causing me with the internet connection. I did download the .exe file of the server but when i start it..nothing happens. Since I DON'T know how to make everything work, there is anybody to help me out with this? Consider that I am not professional at all but under a good guide I think I can make it. Please explain to me,step by step,what I have to do for the server set-up and all the other further steps. thanks a lot in advance for your kind cooperation and understanding.

It looks like you don't need a TFTP server to update it. You can download the manual which has firmware upgrade instructions at www.dlink-me.com/ftp/modems/ DSL-302T/DSL302T_Manual_2_00.pdf
