What does "missing" mean for result type id for IPSLA?
I have my monitors configured and I have several chunks of time (usually middle of night) where they go off to lala land and return this 1001 code.
thanks
njoylif,
This code usually indicates that failures occurred while retrieving results from routers or processing in IP SLA Manager. Do all operations share the same moments when no valid results are present in DB?
Thanks.
Yes, basically seems to go by group of nodes based on location for my environment. I guess I'm confused as to what the difference is between a resulttypeID of >= 1000 and the operationstatusID.
What might cause a 1001 and unknown (0) vs. giving a down (2) for OpStatusID...not getting the response packet back?
thanks for the clarification
So I need to know what the difference is between a resulttypeID of 1001, and an operationstatusID of unknown and down?how does orion determine a down? no response? if so, what scenario would give a 1001 or unknown?
