Problem creating SmartGroup based on custom tags

I'm trying to create a new SmartGroup containing devices that have a custom tag.  This is as far as I get:

SmartGroup contains: Devices
Start with: No Devices
Add devices where tag is _______

The problem is that the tag dropdown field only contains 'createdate' -- none of my custom tags are listed.

Can someone please help with this?

Received this response from the SolarWinds support team:

We have discovered an issue with smart groups and tagging.  This should be resolved in the next release.  You will be notified when the release is available.
