Hello...before I get knee deep into making maps with EOC/Orion I want to see how everyone out there is doing it. If I recall if the maps are created on the Orion server then they have to be exported to EOC. So any changes on the Orion server/map then it has to be exported out each time. I have 6 Orion servers under EOC with many maps.
If you use EOC to make the maps then that pulls the device lists from the Orion servers and the maps are on EOC. So you would use EOC as a single point to make these maps.
So how do you do it? I have a bunch of maps to make and think making them from EOC is the best bet and easiest to use.
I made a request that maps would be made on the Orion servers and EOC can pull them at specific intervals. So if something changes on the Orion server EOC automatically updates.
