Not able to add a Cisco MCS7828H into VoIp Monitoring because there is no MCS7828H classification. Node is in the system and we are monitoring with NPM and APM.
Is there a work around for nodes that are not defined?
Yes it is. We monitor severs levels of CM from 4.1 to the current 7.1.
Right now I have custom pollers getting data from the server that is how I know the Version.
Pollers I am getting data on are for CTI Route Points, Phones, and Gateways.
Wow after looking into this more it is listed in the Call Managers Field and I did not add it there.
Thought that it would be like call paths were as if it is selected it stays viewable and shows that it is checked.
Operator Error on my part.
I'm not sure what you mean by there is "no MCS7828H classification".
If it is not showing up in the list of sites, it could be because the Vendor is not reported as "Cisco" or that the device is set in NPM to use SNMP v1.
Verify what version of SNMP you are using with device in NPM and that NPM is reporting its vendor as Cisco.
NPM is set to v2 for that device and NPM sees it as device Type Cisco MCS7828H
Sorry, I did not realize what the MCS7828H device was refering to and I thought you were trying to add a device for IP SLA. What call manager software and version are you running on the device?
CUCMBE (Cisco Unified CallManager Business Edition) and its 7.0.1.11000-2
