Problem with creating an operation

My problem is

When i Create any operaton from within IP SLA MANAGER , Orion will automatically use the IP address that it communicates with the Node on, as the IP address that will be inserted into the Node Confiugration for that Operation.

This is a problem in our network as the IP address that Orion contacts the Node with is a NAT'd address that does not physically exist on the Router, Therfore the Operation fails everytime, unless i manually alter the configuration on the Node myself.

Is there anyway around this, other than creating the operations myself and just monitoring those operations. from Orion

You can change the ip address that IP SLA uses to create the operation by specify the source ip address in the IP SLA node's settings in the IP SLA Node Management page. You can follow the steps outlined at

This is actually something that will be addressed in the next release. Currently you can specify the interface for an operation, but you have to do it as a node setting, so the interface you select would be the same for every operation you create on that source device. In the next release we have added the ability to specify the the IP for a specific interface for each operation you create on that device.
