Is there a way to specify what account to use when running WMI repair to target workstations? When i am trying to do wmi repair and uninstall/reinstall configmgr client it keeps failing. Is there a docuement how to set this up? Thanks.
The account that is used for WMI repair is the Credential that is defined in the Credential Ring for that console user, that is configured according to the resource rule that maps to that target resource.
Credentials and Credential Rules are documented in section 4.2 of the Extension Pack Administration Guide and in the Quick Start Guide.
Hi Lawrence, The account being use have access to the files during "Configuration manager Agent Repair" to a unc path with the sccm client installation files.I am still seeing it failing.
WMI Health Check: Succeeded ConfigMgr Client Agent Uninstall (CCMSETUP): Failed
