Mass Edit limitations

I just tried to mass edit the display name on 565 monitors to replace a string. The preview worked and looked correct, I clicked next, then clicked OK make change and it immediatly went back to the dashboard without making the change. Is there a limit on how many changes can be made a once?

I notice now that it did work for all the monitors, but it did not update the Device Name.

So how can I mass edit Device Names? All the monitors within the devices have been corrected.
