EOC map issue

Hi All,

I am not 100% sure if this is an EOC map problem, atlas problem, or a database synch problem but here is the issue I am seeing.

We have 2 Orion installations, 1 in the UK and 1 in the US as well as our EOC server which is also in the UK. The problem I'm seeing is when a node or whole office goes down it is correctly being notice on the Orion server, the node or office object is red. But when I go to my EOC map it still thinks it is up and is green.

If I go to my EOC settings and update the "Manage Orion Server" settings then go back to my EOC homepage the map gets updated with the correct information.

Has anyone else seen this before?

My EOC server is on v1.3 and my 2 Orion servers are on v10.1.3

I too have seen this same issue several time with EOC v1.2, and at least once with v1.3. I would also like to see an offical answers as to why EOC some times does not update node status correctly.

I just got word from Development that this behavior could be indicative of some kind of polling issue. They suggested you open a Support case. Once you've opened the case, if you wouldn't mind, please post your case number so we can all keep an eye on it, and then post any resolution you reach.
