Hi

To monitor the work OSPF I use Universal Device Poller

But if OSPF does not have neighbors, I get the answer "The OID not supported" (ospfNbrState, OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.14.10.1.6), ie field Poller Name ospfNbrState not exist

To create a Trigger Condition for Advantsed Alert I need to use the condition "not contains" - it is possible?

For examle

Trigger condition

field Poller Name NOT CONTAINS ospfNbrState

I looked into this same question several months ago. The idea -- when the custom poller returns an invalid response, treat that response similar to an "error code", and use it to initiate an action. This sort of acting upon an invalid response is done all the time iin programming. However, Orion (as it is in 2010.1) is not set-up to handle such a response. I could get the custom poller to act according to valid responses, but as soon the the resonse came back invalid, then it just didn't work.

Perhaps SolarWinds will address this type of addressing invalid responses in the future, as part of feature request. If you want it, then go the Feature Requests forum, and post there, the more information you give (and the more people who request it), perhaps the more likely that SW will add the feature.
