Switch Port Usage

I was told there is a way to determine the last time a switch port was active. Does anyone no how to do this? I was looking under switch port mapper, but do not see this option.

Within Switch Port Mapper, you can add the folowing statistics by selecting "File->Settings" from the menu.

Date/Time of last interface status change
Time last packet was received on this port (Cisco IOS only)
Time elapsed since last packet was received on this port (Cisco IOS only)
Time last packet was transmitted on this port (Cisco IOS only)
Time elapsed since last packet was transmitted on this port (Cisco IOS

Within Real-Time Interface monitor you can select "Time data was last Received/Transmitted" statistics group

If the port is currently Down, "Date/Time of last interface status change" would show when it went Down.
