IP SLA - DHCP

I'm seeing unexpected behavior when I set up IP SLAs for DHCP.

My assumption is the source address of the SLA needs to be from an interface that has a valid scope on the DHCP server. I've seen this bear-out in testing.

When I source the SLA from a router interface that does not have HSRP configured, I get success.

When I source the SLA from a router interface that does have HSRP configured, the operation fails.

Has this been observed by anyone?

This sounds like a great question to research in the VNQM manual and Thwack (use the magnifying glass link in the upper right of this forum, and enter in key words in which you're interested).

But if nothing useful appears, I recommend opening a Support ticket with Solarwinds.
