Inventory timeout

we have a NCM1000 with almost 700 devices. When we run physical entities report on the console it takes a long tme but it executes properly, however if we do it from the WEbPage we get the following error:

Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerTimeoutException: The server request timed out.

Any ideas?

We apologize for the inconvenience.  This is a performance issue with the browser control that we're working on addressing in 5.1.  Our plan is to implement paging in the inventory results so the browser doesn't timeout on the large result set.

In the meantime, the workaround is to create maybe 2-3 modified copies of the Physical Entity report that are filtered to run on a subset of devices.  You can logically organize this however this makes sense in your environment.
