Transaction not downloading file

I have a transaction that is setup to login to a site, upload a file, download a file, and then logout. The upload works fine, but the download isn't. Orion shows that the transaction is completing, but the download only takes .5 seconds (its a 40mb file) and the file server doesn't show that the file was downloaded.

Any idea why the download isn't being processed? Also, do you know the default location the file is saved? When I setup the transaction it never asked. Thanks

Hello,

WPM downloads files to temp folder and deletes them once transaction finishes. When you have recorded the transaction, did you get a "File Download" dialog in WPM that asked you what do you want to verify? There are options to verify file name, file size etc. One option is also to actually download the file. If you don't check this option, WPM just asks server for the file and verifies it's name and size without actually downloading it. Try to record the transaction once more and make sure that you check the option to download full file.

It's the "Include download time in statistics", I used just wrong words. As long as you have this option checked, it should download full file and measure the time.

If you run that transaction in the Recorder, does the download step also report 0.5 second or does it have correct time there?

Yes, I just tested it from the recorder and it does the same thing. Not really sure where the issue lies at this point.
