CDR/CMR records in Solarwinds Server

Hi there,

I have VNQM now and all is well. My question is, once VNQM downloads the CDR/CMR from the nominated FTP server which also works perfect for me, where are the files stored and how long is it stored in the VNQM or DB Server?

Our FTP server deletes the cdr files it gets from CUCM  after VNQM process them so I have our FTP server covered with hard disk space. I'm worried that if I start adding all our CUCM servers global and have CDR/CMR enable, my NPM/NTA/VNQM/SAM/NCM will be affected on storage space and possibly performance issues.

Hi,

Records are stored in Orion database and by default they're deleted after 30 days. Not all fields from CDRs and CMRs are stored, really roughly it's about 1kB of data per call.
