Does SQL:Select work in 9.5 labels?

Trying to get this working but haven't been successful yet.

Trying to use a SQL query to extract data and post it on a map.....

I even went back and tried the example provided in the manual

${SQL:select count(*) from nodes}

Does this feature work in 9.5?

I have tried on Orion 10 with ${SQL:select count(*) from nodes} under Node, Interface, ToolTip, and a Separate Label, it did not display anything

So is it a bug starting in 9.5? Will it be fixed?
