Needed Alerts Help

Ok so I was just asked many things about Orion and having a hard time. I keep reading all the how to guides and googling and I am so confused still. Someone please help!

I have a need for the following alerts:

1. Hard Drive Error Alert

2. Memory Error Alert

3. Power Supply Failure

4. Predicted Failure on Hard Drives

I have no clue where to start or what to do.

Thank you for responding. We are mostly using Dell and we have a few HP. Currently they are using Dell ITA to do the monitoring. How do I do a Universal Device Poller? Sorry I am really nice to Solar Winds.

These machine-level failures or errors are not typically tracked by NPM. What you can do is look at the MIB on the device you are wanting to monitor for these conditions and see if the conditions are included in the MIB. If so, you can build Universal Device Pollers (UnDP) for those items. What brand/model of hardware is this?
