Adding IPSLA Operations manual

Hie people,

l am trying to add IPSLA Path Jitter opertaions manual on a cisco 7206 VXR router and then monitoring these from the web dashboard. l am following the monitor existing operations directive on the dashboard to add IPSLA operation 30001 but l get this confirmation in the end:

Choose Operations to Monitor
Operations created through and already being managed by VoIP and Network Quality Manager:

Router1: 30001

Unfortunately l can't locate this added operation on the dashboard . l have added some IPSLA operations via the web dashboard and these are working properly. Find below the config l used to add this IPSLA operation.

ip sla 30001
path-jitter 192.168.10.6 source-ip 192.168.2.5
owner SolarWindsOrion_Orion
frequency 300
ip sla schedule 30001 life forever start-time now

l am using VNQM 4.1

Hi,

could you get output of this SQL query and see if your operation is there with that ID? VNQM uses IDs 40xxx for internal count, but 30001 should work fine.

Remove " owner SolarWindsOrion_Orion" from your config and then add the operation again.

I believe that owner and the operation numbers are how VNQM identifies what operations that it added, and which are manual.

Several times, I've had to delete all operations via the CLI and delete all operations in VNQM in order to start fresh.

When adding manual operations, for the operation number, I use a long string that includes the date and time to try to make it fairly unique. I do not set an owner.
