It looks like we can use exportcertrequest and then assign our own internally assigned CA certificate. But is this cert only used for the Web GUI or is it also used to encrypt client/console communication?
It's used for all communication from appliance to browser (or appliance to AIR console if using the installed app).
It is NOT used for agent to appliance communication or reports console to database communication.
