Problem Configuring SCOM Management pack

Hi all. I was trying to configure the Orion MP for SCOM, and i cannot go beyond the web console User Id and password screen, i successfully changed the admin user password, im trying to enter those credentials and the message is... "Could not connect...please ensure your authentication details are correct" ... is something im doing wrong? i have installed Orion on the same Ops Mgr server, could this be the problem?

I don't think installing on the same server is the root of your authentication problem, but that's probably not going to give you optimal performance on either application. Could you post screenshots of where you're seeing the error?

Yep i thought so, but it is the only unusual characteristic on my environment (it is a test lab). The weird thing is that Im able to connect to the web server with the same account that generates the error. Thanks for your reply!

It's hard to troubleshoot this kind of problem on Thwack. I would recommend that you open a Support ticket.

Hi Guys,

I am having the same issue with MP. I have SCOM 2012 up and running and SAM, NPM many other SolarWinds modules running on windows server 2012 also.

When I try to install the Management Pack using either the local admin credentials ou the SolarWinds AD credentials it give me the following error message

Have you tried to login to the webconsole using this account?

Hi Vizcainom,

I was able to login to the web-console from within and outside the SCOM server.

If you were able to login take a look at the Alerts folder in SolarWinds Management Pack in SCOM. You should see alerts.
Actually, before that, make sure you select the nodes and interfaces you want to be reporting in SCOM.

That is all.

HI,

I did managed to login using the IE but the config wizard is still showing the same error.

I have opened a support case and the engineer has not found a solution either.

This MP has too many bugs. I stopped using it. Alerts trigger when they please.
