Backup running Config results: failed

Question

My goal is to have a scheduled backup for Cisco’s CUE/CME.  For now I have created a simple Device.Backup.Running Config activitie and I am getting a Backup running Config failed result. 
I login to the Cisco 2801 router successfully and then I get a message "Did not receive expected response to command: show running-config”  backup running config results: Failed.   Your advice is appreciated.
