Building a MAC address "database" for remote client AP's

I would like to use Cirrus Config manager or some script in Orion to populate a table with MAC addresses that have authenticate to 18 Access points.  I wish to impose (Seamless) Mac address filtering.  These remote clients are medical clinics and the physicians travel between locations.  Once the table is built I will "blow in" these MAC address to all 18 AP's.  How can this be accomplished?

Hi,

I would first check if a table in a MIB could be polled to get the list of the MAC Addresses.

How: Search the web, MIB Walk, SNMP MIB Browser, snmpwalk, Manufacturer's Documentation, etc.

Which APs models are installed on your network?

 

Then I would create a Universal Device Poller (UnDP) to poll that table.

The next step would be to report what has been gathered by that UnDP for all the APs.

Once you have the lists of all the needed MAC addresses, you can use Network Configuration Manager to upload a config snippet on all the APs.
