Device in a Connector Profile group vs Device that just have connectors setup not in a profile group.

This might seem, little weird question.

I am new to the lem software still, please help.

I have been looking over all my Connector Profiles groups that are in LEM.

I have notice that not all devices are set to a specific or general profile group.

This made me look at devices that are not showing up in a profile group.

When I, started to look at first few. I notice that they do have connectors setup, but they are not showing they are setup on a profile group.

Then I look at one of the profile group to see what connectors are setup on that one. Then I notice it is the same connectors that are setup on machine that is not in a profile group.

Couple of questions

First question is, the device that has the connectors setup on it and it is not in connector profile group. When you remove that device from the connector profile group, does it leave the setup connectors ?

Second question is, if the machine gets remove the lem device by the automate way if you do not see this device after this amount of time. Then you rebuild that machine later, it gets added back to lem, will the lem remember to added the correct connector profile group or connectors?

Third question is, if you have to added a bunch of machines that are not in a connector profile group. What is the easiest and best way to do that?

Four question is, if you have a bunch of machines that you do not know if they have connectors setup on them because they are not showing up in a connector profile group. What is the best way to find that out??

I know there are a lot of questions here.

Any help would be great.

The connectors should remain in place, but as always you will want to test that before making major changes.
No. If the machine is removed from Manage -> Nodes and later re-joined it is going to basically be treated as a new node (no connector profile, no remembered connectors).
Adding machines to a connector profile is through Build -> Groups and adding them that way. If there's a more common group or large set with the same naming convention you may want to start with that. It's pretty much a manual process.
You would have to check each node individually. However, if you know that the profile has the correct connectors and there shouldn't be any unique connectors configured I would just add them to the profile. For example, if you're talking about a bunch of workstations you should probably manage that through the connector profile. There's a slim chance of anything unique being set up there and I would say even more slim that losing the unique connector will miss out on any key data.
