Please right click Rules -> Add new Rule. And configure it like this:
Kiwi Syslog Web Access
Hit apply. Refresh your KWA web console and verify it the events are coming in now.

You can install 9.4.1 over the top of y our current install.

You can install the latest version Kiwi Syslog Server (v9.4.1) on top of your existing installation. Configurations are preserved in the registry but having a backup is always wise. To back them up, simply click File -> Export Settings to INI file.
P.S Make sure you have active license maintenance as the upgrade will ask for activation key for v9.4.1
That's good to know. After the upgrade I want to move this to a new server. The old server is 2003 and the new server will be 2008R2. What's the process for that?
After the upgrade you will need to apply your activation key. This is found in your customer portal. Here are migration instructions:

Keep in mind that if you are moving from a 32 bit system to a 64 bit system you will copy the Syslogd directory to C:\Program Files (x86) and install to that directory.
You will also want to use this tool to deactivate your license:

This will send your activation key back to your customer portal. Once your key shows up, you will be able to use it on your new system.
In place upgraded did not work. No errors on the install, activated the product but the syslogd service won't stay started.

I exported the ini before the upgrade. Can I use this ini on a fresh install on another machine running the latest 9.4.1?
Yes the INI file should contain all of your settings. If you run license manager, do you see any errors?
License manager runs fine, shows that the product is licensed.
no traffic is coming in and the service won't start.
I don't have the option to log to KWA. Which is odd because it worked for a little while.
