Hello again,
When the DHCP SLA Operation successfully completes, does it immediately release the IP it obtained? Or from the DHCP servers point of view, is that IP consumed for the duration of the lease? Also, assuming the DHCP SLA Operation 'keeps' the first IP it was given, does it request the same IP for future checks or does it request a new IP every time?
I ask because in networks that have long lease times (1 -2 days), if we are checking DHCP every 3 - 5 minutes, then we could be in danger of consuming a large number of IPs. I didn't see this covered in the documentation anywhere. If I missed it, please point it out. Thanks!
