VoIP Monitor: Adding new sites

Our setup is "hub and spoke": the callmanager resides in the HQ and phones in the remote sites subscribe to it. Currently we have added 10 sites to the VoIP monitor.

The first 7 sites were added sucesfully to the VoIP Monitor, and statistics are kept perfectly. However, VoIP monitor cant collect data for the last three sites.

MOS remain to 0,00; call paths also remain to 0,00!

SNMP RO and RW is configured for all remote sites routers. Also, VoIP Monitor is configured for automatic "IP SLA Configuration Mode"

Any idea what can cause this problem?

I found the problem! The VoIP Monitor service requires internet to start. For an unknown reason the service was restarted but has not started again, because it hadn't access to internet (was blocked from our firewall)

After starting the service everything seems to work!

Without looking at the diagnostics, I would ask that you connect to one of the 3 sites that are not reporting stats and look statistics reported by the IOS.

The usual command is "sh ip sla statistics <operation number>" for a specific operation

or you can do "sh ip sla statistics" to see statistics for all operations.

What you are looking for is the "Latest Operation return code" for any operations that have any failures.

The error reporting is something we are working on improving to make it easier for users to know why something went wrong.

Configuration done on routers by the NPM is same on both routers:

"ip sla responder"

Routers run the same IOS (12.4-20.T2).

Should I do any manual changes to Cisco routers config??

From the statistics you showed above, that doesn't seem to be a an operation that VoIP would have created.

Can you try removing and readding one of the sites that's not working and run through the wizard again.

I would suggest opening a ticket with support. They will be able to help you figure out why the 3 sits are not working out.
