Nortel 450's

I have some questions regarding Nortel 450's.

Will NCM have any upcoming support for these menu-based devices? I see that the latest version of Kiwi CatTools supports 450 config backups, will this be added to NCM?

Is there a way to send a "space" output within the Device Type command set?

At one time during our testing phase we set one of our Nortel switches to factory defaults inadvertently using NCM. It had an older version of code on it and was set to the menu-command set. A space is needed to set this "reset" command in motion. This leads me to believe that configuring 450 backups/changes may be possible.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have been able to setup an auto tftp config using the following Command string in the Nortel 450 Device Type:

The ${ } gives me the space I need. However, the downloaded file is saved with the name "${StorageAddress}" and the download errors out in NCM.

Any thoughts?

How did you determine that the file is being saved as the name ${StorageAddress} if NCM errors out?

Can you attach the NCM session trace and we'll see if we can figure out what's going on?

The device-type config is set to telnet and use the menu to get the config via tftp. The file is TFTP'd to the default TFTP server on NCM (TFTP-root). The file ${StorageAddress} turns up there after the download, NCM errors out. Attached is the trace.

Can you upload the session trace again? The file you uploaded previously appears to be corrupted. Opening in notepad or wordpad results in a bunch of special characters.
