Simple alerting on NAS Volume space.

I'm trying to setup a simple space notice on an Isilon NAS. Currently it has over 640Tb, so percentage alerting is impractical. Anyone have some good hints or tips on what parameter to alert on to make this more usable?

So on what paramater would you like to create the alert? "Space notice" as in alert me when free space is less than a fixed number?

Yes, a simple space remaining alert. "Less than X GB/TB free on the syste - Do something before production stops!""
